There's the sound of laughter by the adults, the squeaky sound made by that one hamster on the circular thing, this adorable puppy laying on my lap, and that spoilt boy annoying everyone with that ninja sword of his.

Surrounded by joy, and yet I don't feel any of it. Everything feels just neutral. After all that has happened throughout the year, I'm thankful 2010 is going to be over soon.

Another Christmas come and go, it didn't feel like a festival much, especially when staying indoors.
Thanks Karen, Shally, Pei Ling. It meant the most spending time with you guys on Christmas Day.

This year has been quite a roller coaster ride. It goes all the waaaaaaaay up, and then it falls back down, going really fast, and it comes to just an end after such a bumpy ride.

Memorable, unmemorable memories. You name them.

Five days, guys. Five days and it's a brand new year.

Next year will be better.

I need something to do

It has come to a conclusion that time proves I'm lazy and it can get worse.
Lazy to do any cleaning around that messy room I have, lazy to open any book to study for that upcoming finals next Thursday first paper, lazy to think of anything to do but stare at the screen showing FACEBOOK every single day.
Nah. It has come to a conclusion that I AM hardworking. Facebook hid it away.

Anyway, since sem break started for the non-foundation people, college has been super quiet super spacious super cold super not use to it.
Less people shows less aim to be there, less motivation for the next class. Weird.
That adds up to being more lazy.
What beats than going out everyday to enjoy the fresh air before that huge lorry passes by?
I need that certain mood to make me study.

I gotta find something meaningful to do than just sit in front of the computer waiting for a miracle.

Remember how long we took to wear those marching boots for the first time? xD

8 weeks and going on 9

By the end of the week, the house would only have 12 little puppy legs running around the place.
Mozzy is going to a new home this Saturday.

It's just, Mozzy's presence for 8 weeks plus now just isn't making things easy.

4 weeks and still growing

Today was their first visit to the vet!
Being so cute and totally clueless, the only thing I think they were absolutely sure about was they were all squashed together in a shoe box.
The boxes at home were either too big or too small, lar.

All are healthy, each weighing only 0.8kg.
The only thing was the Mother.
Yuki lacks of milk, and hence the pups need to be bottle fed for..maybe for another week?
Then it's hello solid food.

They're just growing so fast. ><

Love them more and more everyday! ♥♥♥♥

Monday, ugh

Practically, nothing much happens on a Monday.
As usual, everyone was jus minding their own business, patiently waiting for the lecturer to go full speed in Accounts once again.
Then again, the lecturer was NEVER late, and it was like, 30 minutes since the class was suppose to start?

Looking around, looking around..until a bunch of guys went "WHOOOOOO!"

Class must has been cancelled, I think.

Class cancelled, quite an empty computer lab, okay, go online! ^^v

Stupidity is gonna ruin my life.

Who would have every thought High School would be the best, the most enjoyable time of all eternity. =D
Let's not get started with the new class names and the pengetua and all.

I miss my ex-schoolmates.

All those fun, crazy, non-boring times. =D

I can sit there all day just watching them =D

Miko, no name number 2, no name number 3 and Sesame are officially 3 weeks old!

In the last 21 days:
They've grown from tiny guinea pigs to little fattys.
They've gotten their hearing and sight.
They crawled around a lot
They tried balancing themselves.
They trip while trying to run. (They don't even know how to walk yet!)
They played among each other.

They whine, cry out, smile (it's like you can actually see them SMILE!) , walk around, trip, fall (on their back!), run (RUN! HOR!) , find their mum, bite each other (no teeth, hah!) , and then they just sleep.
And it happens all over again when they wake up..

Eat, sleep, play. REWIND. Eat, sleep, play.

Until they start running, really running, biting, really biting, whining, really whining......

Until they're 10 weeks old, I'm gonna hate to say goodbye to 2 of them.

Thanks to the empty computer lab in Uni, Facebook is ruining my studies.
Midterm in less than 2 weeks and just so many things to do, Blogspot is just so eager to help add laziness in my everyday-life term.

Anyway, fingers crossed for Yuki and her new pups. All mother are babies and in great, healthy shape. ^^
Except for the second one. Poor little fella never had the chance to see the world. =(

Anni was beside Yuki during the whole time.
Definitely. Since she decided to pick Anni's room (under her messy, dusty bed) the place for her to give birth.
Anni's qualified to be a nurse. =)

Gah. I had to be stuck in QM during that period of time.
How often do you see a WHITE dog giving birth to a BROWN puppy along with 4 BLACK ones.
The father, the culprit, however, is unknown.

Well, the whole Yuki-being-a-mother again shocked and suprised everyone BIG TIME. No one ever knew she was pregnant!!!
For the past weeks, everyone was going "Fatty!! How come you're so fat already??"
..........
Yeah.
I even used her stomach as a drum the other day, while Anni was carrying her up and down(me too), and Mum still spanked her whenever she did her business in the wrong place.

Figures why she sleeps more often.
Explains why she keeps scratching the floor.

The vet praised Yuki as a great mother to the pups.
Awwww~ Yuki, I'm so proud of you! ^^
Credits to Anni (who ran across the street to look for Auntie Elizabeth's help and saved a pup's life), Mum (who drove all Yuki and the pups to the vet) and Dad (who pushed Anni's heavy bed up so they could reach Yuki in time).


My priorities have changed after 2.45pm, 7th June 2010. =)
Oh and they are all female!
We're keeping the BROWN one, so no touchy!

My laptop can't be any heavier

Just to find out I have to set up this Proxy thing, only can I online and go facebooking during my free time.

6 days down, hundred thousand more to go.
College life can't be any weirder than high school.

We have to search for the NEW timetable in order to not go in the WRONG class at the WRONG time, thanks to the OLD timetable.

Whaaaaat?? They can't really expect newbies to know everything on their second week.
Kinda explains why I'm often searching for Kok Jen high and low, hoping to bump into him all the time, hahaha!

Anyway, I'm glad I made a few new friends. It's been kinda lonely and awkward appearing in the same hall/room/place more than 3 times.
How do I where I was going. Kinda ended up in the same place over and over again.

Practically the title described my day, and is still describing it.
(Oh wait! Dinner in 30!)
Yeah, my day off after working 6 days a week and I'm feeling bored and lazy and have been doing nothing much but napping.
Should have stick with plan A to go shopping in Midvally, eat McDonald's and buy more Little Black Dress books.

Anyway, quite a few things are currently going to/already happening.

Lets see..

After working for 4 weeks at Top and Bottom, its Stock Clearance : Sales time.
And it seems that people just can't resist the SALES word. People rush in, snatch clothes, run to the fitting room with 30 pieces of cloth they can find, and they leave a huge messy mountain of clothes for us to clean up, not to mention the hangars being ALL over the floor.
I kinda like the weekends more without, *doom music*, the SALES.
When I become the customer, yeah, I'll torture them more. You'll see.

Oh, and since college is starting in a week, Sunday is gonna be my last day working there.
Noooooooooooo! All the pretty, pretty, pretty clothes, shoes, accessories...
Okay, I'm not that desperate. But I pretty much enjoy my time hanging around there for 8 hours++ a day.

We're going for the Orientation Day in UCSI on Thursday.
And we are going to be officially part of UCSI next Tuesday. ^^

So I was complaining about how I was one of the lucky ones to get chosen for NS last year in June.
About what? Insects and all.
...
Actually, everything turned out really okay and superb.
Unexpected.


Insects weren't really a huge problem. With the mosquito nets around, friends illegally bringing in mosquito sprays, brave people using brooms to hit the other creepy insects. So yeah.

Cold showers were easy to get used to. Besides, cold water helps in blood circulation and smooth and better skin condition, hehe. It was just the "Siapa di luar?! Di dalam tak ada air!" that got really annoying.

Shared toilets were better than non-sharing. You see, it's scary when you go in alone, especially when you're alone, especially when it's at night, especially right after the malays all talked about ghosts and all.

The pillow and bed weren't even the least hard. Mattresses and blankets and bedsheets and pillow sheets were all still given, once in 2 weeks. ... My bad, hehe.

Air con. Well, living near the woods, cold wind automatically even without the help of air con. The morning is already enough cold, it's just the hot, hot afternoons and evenings that you need to tahan.

And to think I couldn't stand pepper last time, all the spicy food there helped a alot. What to do, all meals have at least a spicy dish. Thanks to that, I proudly announce that I can officially eat one of the best food in Malaysia -- curry.

Kawad. Yeah, that I'm complaining still. It's 2.30pm where the sun shines the brightest, where the temperature rises the higest of the day, and you need to march under the sun. Well, though it's just for less than 10 times, let's just say it's to train for stamina or something? xD

And sometimes, life with nature and without technology couldn't be all that bad. Remembered I couldn't live without my handphone, but now, sometimes being without it can't be all that bad. Repeat SOMETIMES! I still need my handphone by my side. =D

So, NS is pretty amazing.

It was 6th March 2010, 1.45am in the morning.

I stared into the dark woods, while it was pouring out there.
I looked around.
Trees, trees and more trees.
No stars, just clouds.

Ting and Fong were sleeping soundly.
Sing and Quin were sitting and staring at the opposite side of the tent.
Guess they couldn't sleep either.

The ground was hard.
Towels were our blankets.
Ting was bitten by a leech on the stomach.
We never had a chance to take off our wet boots, and now they're soaking in the rain.

Cold.
Wet.
Dirty.
Smelly.
Tired.
Sticky.
Sweaty.
Those described every 422 of us.
So this is what it's like being in the woods on a rainy day.

Hours ago, we had trouble putting up the tents.
Half of the team finding bamboo sticks, half buttoning the 'raincoats' together.
We had to double up all the work, fast, thanks to the rain, slippery mud and with the sun going down fast.

A few packs of maggie were being cooked in a real unique way.
The fire was going nowhere thanks to the down pour weather.
"Siapa ada torchlight?" was just heard often.

Overall, everything was quite okay.
At least better than expected.
There were toilets. ^^
And I could use 5 minutes to walk back to our dorm.
Well, I'd do that if it wasn't illegal that night. xD

...

I stared back into the dark woods.
2.00am, I watched my watch.
It's still raining cats and dogs out there, with my feet out out the tent accompanying the rain.
Well, I guess it's continue-to-sleep time.
Just another 10 hours before I'm done with Wirajaya. =)

For my first and only time out in the woods, it's not really ALL that bad.
Friends, experience.
Couldn't really ask for more.

So, the last day till freedom was suppose to be on the 14th this month, but who would have ever guessed that SPM results would be out on the 11th?

So, the girl who went in Kem PLKN Temasya Rimba Templer 14 days later, and has came back to Kuala Lumpur 5 days earlier than the actual date -- ME !

So, I am back from NS once again, and this time it's for good.


PS: SPM results in less than 48 hours !! T.T

Being selected for NS isn't actually all that bad.
In fact, it isn't bad at all.

Kayaking, rakiting, M16 with 20 bullets, basic taekwando, having great friends you never expected..
(and that's just half of the fun)

Tho there still were..
Marching under the hot sun during noon time, singing Negaraku and 3 other songs for 30 minutes, meeting some people who are just 'something'..

Mosquitoes were rarely spotted in the dorm.. O.o
Instead, red ants and huge centipedes would come and visit..
Monkeys on the other hand come and steal food if the door were to be accidentally left opened..

Clothes and things are waiting to be unpacked since, like, an hour ago.
Heh..


So many things to do and so little time.
Holidays for 4 days and I'm going back to Rawang on Tuesday evening.

It seemed just like yesterday when I recieved their sms and letter stating that I'm one of the lucky ones to be selected to go for the stupid NS in Sarawak.

And..they are expecting me to be in Sibu by tomorrow night, suffering in cold water and feeding me to those blood-sucking creatures out there, in an still-unknown place.

Well, I hereby declare myself sick, and I will still be in Kuala Lumpur tomorrow night.
For once I'm hoping myself to get well later than later.
